Baka Corporation opened its doors in 1978, based on prior sales in the
four and one half states that are defined in the ERA Locator as the "Heart
of America Chapter". We are known as an engineering based firm -
due to the high quality and price of the lines that we represent. A good
deal of our time is spent with our customers in the early stages of new
programs with the engineering design teams. It is our belief that independent
purchasing decisions are minimized if the companies that we represent
have print position - single source when ever possible.
Design cycles can last anywhere from three weeks to nine months, and
we are prepared to support the engineers over the full cycle. It is our
experience that the best way to ensure booking the order is to have your
product called out on the drawing. In addition, the Baka sales person
schedules trips to the factory to clear up customer's questions, and accompanies
them to make sure that the meetings run smoothly.
In order to keep our outside sales team focused on their job, we have
staffed the Wichita office to support the outside effort. When the sales
people from the Kansas City and St. Louis office are out on calls, they
call forward their telephones to the Wichita office. Our inside staff
will take care of any problems or questions that may arise, and alert
the sales person if any follow up is necessary. This provides a more personal
and professional face on the service that our customers receive, and defines
the commitment that our factories are making to the customers as well.
