After serving in the U.S. Army as a calibration technician, Joe spent the next couple of years working in the computer industry before joining BAKA, and has been a large part of the success of the company over the last twenty plus years. Joe’s passion for “customer solutions” has helped BAKA become one of the Midwest’s premier Rep firms.
Lynn Reed - CFO
As the daughter of Bill Reed, the Founder of BAKA, Lynn literally grew up in the business. Lynn became well regarded in the industry as a circular connector specialist. Lynn has grown the business using her product knowledge combined with the business philosophy and commitment to customer service that was instilled in her by her Father, as well as her strong desire to succeed.
Jim Lange - Kansas City - Outside Sales
Jim has 48 years in the electronic industry. 28 years with Dale Electronics with 13 years in plant involved in quality control, engineering, order processing and inside sales and 15 years as Direct Sales covering Kansas, Missouri and Nebraska. 20 years with BAKA covering the Kansas City metropolitan area, eastern Kansas, Nebraska and Western Missouri.
Nathan Riley- Wichita - Outside Sales
Son of Joe Reilly and Lynn Reed, Nathan has grown up in the industry. His interests in aeronautics pulls him towards anything aviation. Attention to detail is important whether it is staying on the ground or in the air. Nathan covers the Wichita and surrounding areas (AR, KS, OK, MO). When not working Nathan is a certified Dive Master.
Michael Freed- Wichita - Outside Sales
Mike has 9 years in the industry and has held positions in Outside Sales, Customer service and Operations. Mike covers key accounts in Kansas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, and southern Illinois. Mike is a father of two living in Wichita, Kansas. When not at work, he enjoys many hobbies including hockey, SCUBA, restoring his 1968 firebird and building his Jeep. The son of an Engineer, Mike learned his love for electronics, mechanics, and problem solving at a very early age. Born in California, Mike was transplanted in 1996 and has been enjoying Kansas ever since
George Benton- Wichita - Inside Sales
George has over thirty years of business and management experience and 10 years in the mil-aero industry at the distribution level where he held positions as a Regional Sales Manager and Product Marketing Manager. George has used this experience to help acquire new product lines and identify sales opportunities for the BAKA team. When he is not at work, you can usually catch him on stage somewhere playing the Bass Guitar with the Classic Rock Cover Band, Mid-life Crisis.
Will Bowman - Wichita/St. Louis - Outside Sales
Will has grown up in the aviation industry. Starting in aerospace sales in 1985 in the family machine shop. He has sold machine parts, electromechanical assemblies, avionics, turbine engine monitoring, fasteners, paints and adhesives. He has called over all North America, Mexico, Canada. He brings over 26 years of sales experience to our organization.
